As a result of the rapid urban transformation in metropolises, which collapsed in less than half a century, metropolitan life and people are now part of a larger system that produces itself. While the movements of people in urban spaces are similar to microorganisms, urban structures and architectural forms that define the city have increasingly become representative spaces of alienated people serving the whole system. The work “Infection: Network”, an installation that includes the images of the graphic identity of urban buildings and transforms the architectural forms that define the city into abstract forms, abstracts the urban structures through graphics, likens spaces to an interaction network and emphasizes that people who are alienated from themselves are no different from microorganisms.
